&lt;div&gt;金袋子寿司其实就是用炸好的油豆腐(用酱油和糖煮过的,很甜很甜)装下调好的寿司米饭(米饭,醋,盐,鱼酱,擦好烫过的胡萝卜碎)&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;,简单方便,适合出游和上班的午餐.因为口味较甜而且分量足,个人觉得应该和其他寿司搭配来吃.我家大卫是食肉动物,我就把火腿片也塞进去,他蘸用酱油和醋调好的汁来压油豆腐的甜味,很不错.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div align=center&gt;妈妈上次来带的干蕨菜，泡了两天，滚水里过一下切断备用。炒香蒜，红椒，和几个花椒，加入腌好的肉丝（肉丝用酱油，蚝油，生粉腌过），翻炒至7成熟，加入蕨菜，炒上3分钟就好了。&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;p align=center&gt;&lt;strong&gt;夏天快到了，就特别喜欢清淡的菜，所以就想起了吃蒸菜。从朋友家的菜园子里采来了新鲜的茼蒿，洗好，稍微切短，拿盐和面粉（也可以用米粉）拌起来，上笼蒸7-8分钟。然后关键的就是调汁了，喜欢什么口味就调什么口味。我家喜欢蒜蓉的（蒜蓉+醋+香油+生抽+盐+糖+稍许凉水），可以浇在菜上，也可以蘸着吃。可以蒸的菜还有：茄条（茄子切成细条）。&lt;/strong&gt;

&lt;p align=center&gt;&lt;strong&gt;好吃的葱油卷,做法也简单.不过重要的是要有这饼,在我们老家这饼要用剩下的烙馍(和墨西哥卷饼基本一样,不过要薄很多,死面醒个15分钟,擀薄,平底锅什么都不用中火烙熟),准备些腌葱花(葱花,盐,香油),摊平在饼上,盖上另一张饼卷起来,平底锅内少许香油,低中火两面烙出好看的金黄就好了.配米粥,简单好吃的早餐.&lt;/strong&gt; (图方便可以买春饼还有墨西哥卷饼,也可以变通一下放韭菜,和煎好的蛋皮甚至奶酪)

&lt;p align=center&gt;&lt;font color="#008000"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;花卷做法&lt;/strong&gt;：&lt;strong&gt;用温水把yeast化开，和面粉活在一起，活成软软的面团，湿布盖上发面（40-60分钟）。另外准备一个小碗，把切碎的葱花用香油，盐和五香粉腌起来（也可以用紫苏，或者辣椒粉）。把发好的面擀成半厘米那么后，把腌的葱花均匀铺在上面，顺着一个方向卷起来，然后用刀切成一份份的，最后就是拧花卷了，有3种：1：不拧，直接蒸。2：用筷子顺着切面在中间压一下。3：就是我上面的拧法：还是顺着刀切的方向，左右手的拇指和食指分别捏一端，往两边拉，然后按不同方向拧一圈，把双手捏的部分捏在一起就好了。&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;

&lt;p align=center&gt; 1:就用一般的面加温水（也可以加鸡蛋，盐，或者蔬菜汁类）。活成比较干比较硬的面团，在一边醒几分钟（可以省略）
&lt;p align=center&gt;2：把面条机固定在一个比较大的案板上（左下角那个小零件就是固定的部件）
&lt;p align=center&gt;3：把活好的面分成拳头大的份，用手压扁。
&lt;p align=center&gt;4轧面条的基本程序就是：做成面片-----〉轧成面条
&lt;p align=center&gt;5：面片厚度调节盘跳到最大7（1是最薄，7是最后），把面团放在轧面片的口，压出较厚的面片（这一步要重复2-3次，并且不停地在轧出来的面片上加点面粉，因为面太软的话，不好吃，并且容易粘连）
&lt;p align=center&gt;6：厚度调节到5，把面片压出来（一遍即可），然后就是我最喜欢的厚度2，压出来以后就等着轧成面条。
&lt;p align=center&gt;7：把摇把插进宽面条（或者细面条）区。把面片就变成面条了。就这么简单。
&lt;p align=center&gt;第一遍可能觉得会比较难，多做几回，就会很熟练了，我和freddie一顿饭，就一杯面，10分钟不到就轧好。

&lt;p align=left&gt;&lt;strong&gt;     好久没有贴做的饭了,两个小孩,.做饭已经由爱好(hobby),变成了挑战(challenge).有时候真的是做饭如打仗，freddie的过敏体质直接决定了我不能偷懒，所以不管再忙，我们家也是要开火的。&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;p align=left&gt;&lt;strong&gt;     费时的饭菜我已经不感兴趣，10分钟搞定的菜式最受我欢迎。比如这个。一盒三文鱼fillet，切下来1/3，去皮放在大碗里，撒上花椒粉，老抽，橄榄油和少许盐，料酒，一点白醋。肉肉打个滚腌起来。准备4-5瓣蒜，切成片。&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;p align=left&gt;&lt;strong&gt;    平底锅，中火加入2tbsp黄油。化了以后，加入蒜片，闻到香味后，把鱼片放在蒜片上，盖上锅盖闷上3分钟，翻个个，把碗里剩下的汁浇进去，再焖3分钟，最后打开盖煎2分钟。搞定！&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;p align=left&gt;&lt;strong&gt;    把鱼盛出来，用剩下的汁焖个花椰菜来配。&lt;/strong&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray cookie sheets with nonstick spray or line them with parchment paper. 
&lt;p&gt;Using a mixer, beat the butter until smooth. Beat in the white and brown sugars, a little at a time, until the mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs 1 at a time, then mix in the vanilla and pumpkin puree. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Slowly beat the flour mixture into the batter in thirds. Stir in the chips. Scoop the cookie dough by heaping tablespoons onto the prepared cookie sheets and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cookies are browned around the edges. Remove the cookie sheets from the oven and let them rest for 2 minutes. Take the cookies off with a spatula and cool them on wire racks.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/tbody&gt;&lt;/table&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;      &lt;strong&gt;这几天我像中了邪一样，脑子里好多的计划：后阳台需要深层清洁，院子里的草需要再铺些turf builder,Alex小床的床围垫上的绑节需要重新缝一下，车里需要深度清洁，地毯需要深度清洁，好朋友儿子的生日礼物需要寄出，爸妈的清洁用品需要准备......大卫笑着看我忙里忙外说我疯了，整个周六除了睡个午觉，整个人都在忙，晚上就累倒了。&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;    今天就老老实实休息，让大卫清洁后阳台，我就在厨房卤了这三样，非常受欢迎。&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;     先卤的鸡腿，先用花椒和盐水把鸡腿煮上10分钟，冲去浮沫，加新水，料酒，老抽，冰糖，盐，卤料（香叶，八角，肉桂）一起中火煮，1个小时后我放进去了几个鸡蛋，煮上5分钟后把鸡蛋捞出来，凉水下拨壳，再次把鸡蛋投进去煮上半个小时，熄火盖着盖子焖。尝一下卤水够不够咸。就这样放一下午整个味道就进去了。 因为FREDDIE对花生过敏，所以我把这鸡汤卤水倒进小锅里，加入适量水和盐，加入生花生米分开卤，煮上30分钟（我喜欢吃有点脆的，喜欢吃面的就多煮会儿），焖上半个小时就可以吃了，太好吃了。呵呵，适合下酒。&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;     今天晚上做了两样味道都偏甜的菜，非常受欢迎，偶尔换换口味调节一下也是对的。：）本来是菠萝咕老肉的方子，因为大卫不喜欢菠萝，所以我就没有放，不过一样好吃，第一次做，也很成功。方子我借鉴的&lt;u&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.plumcafe.com/viewthread.php?tid=30464&amp;amp;highlight=%B9%BE%C0%CF%C8%E2"&gt;咖啡&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/u&gt;上的。&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;     &lt;/strong&gt;Tonight i made 2 sweet flavored dish. David and Freddie loved both, the first one is sweet &amp;amp; sour pork, :   season the pork with cooking wine, salt and pepper for 20 mins. then dip the meat into flour and deep fry them till golden brown. set aside for later. put vegetable oil in another cooking pan, fry some garlic,then put some tomato sauce, green and red bellpeppers in to fry, mix some starch, sugar and vinegar and water,pour it in to thicken the sauce, taste it and you might need to put more salt. then, put the pork in and serve.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;     本来不想贴这个样子一般的咖喱的，不过因为大卫特别喜欢，所以在他消灭最后一点以前还是拍了一张。这个咖喱有着椰奶的香味，所以有些特别。&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;     &lt;/strong&gt;This Curry is Simple and special, cause i added coconut milk : dice 1 onion, 1 potato, 1 carrot and 3 slice of chicken tenderloins. fry the onion with vegetable oil first, then add potato and carrot. add water and coconut milk when the onion gets soft.  cover and boil for about 10 mins, then add curry sauce mix( a japanese kind curry i got from the store,it's called JAVA CURRY). boil another 10 mins,  add the chicken in and boil another 5-10 mins,and it's done!( you might need to add a little bit salt).&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;做法很简单：备好洋葱丁，胡萝卜丁和土豆丁还有鸡丁。先用油炒香洋葱，然后加入胡萝卜和土豆丁以及盐炒，洋葱变软后加入水和椰奶，煮开10分钟后加入现成的咖喱块（买的现成的），继续煮10分钟，最后加入鸡丁，煮上 5-10分钟，汤变浓适当加盐调味就好了。&lt;/strong&gt;  &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;      先看看我自己种的蒜苗，很简单，把蒜剥皮，有根的那端朝下放在花盆里，花盆里只用放石子和水就可以了，每天记得浇水，放在室内的窗台上，长得很快的。剪掉上面的蒜苗炒菜吃，然后他们会继续长的。&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;     &lt;/strong&gt;I don't know what to call this Vegetable,  some people call it garlic bolt.anyway, you can plant it in your kitchen, peel some garlic, roots side down on the pot which was filled with little rocks and water. set the pot on your kitchen windowsill, water them everyday,it takes about 1 month to harvest. when they are ready,cut 1 inch away from the garlic, they will grow back.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;烤鸡翅很简单：先准备一个袋子，里面放上淀粉，蒜粉，黑胡椒粉，盐，摇晃均匀，然后把去掉翅尖的鸡翅放进去密封好一起晃，直到鸡翅表面均匀粘上调味料。摊在烤盘上，350华氏温度，烤40-50分钟，中间打开刷上蜂蜜水还有翻面。这个烤后立即吃很好吃，放一放就不好吃了。&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;Baked Chicken wings.put corn starch, garlic powder, black pepper, salt into a ziplock bag,shake them well, then put chicken wings into the bag,keep shaking till the chicken wings are covered with seasoning. then bake them under 350 F for 40-50 mins. turn them over and brush some honey water on them in the middle of baking.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;      昨天在亚洲超市买的河粉，其实也就是米粉，这次买的不是太新鲜，都变硬了，我切成条后用开水煮了一下，然后就都变软了，过凉水，滤干水，加蒜泥，醋，油泼辣椒，黄瓜丝，芝麻酱，拌匀就是了。又做了白吉馍，这次做的薄，很正宗的样子。肉我用SLOW COOKER炖了一晚上，简直软的不行。这顿午饭吃得实在是太满意了。&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;     &lt;/strong&gt; I bought those precooked rice noodles from aisan market, it is made from rice. i boiled them a little bit, then rinse them under cold water, mix with garlic, vinegar, chilli oil, cucumber, sesame paste. eat with chinese hamburger. Great lunch for me.:D&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;     当然不能忘了小FREDDIE，早上煎了红薯饼，中午他执意要吃妈妈做的饼，自己一个人吃了大半个。晚上妈妈给炒的鸡肝，还有蘑菇花椰菜，配大米小米熬的粥。那个鸡肝炒得太好吃了, freddie很喜欢，吃了以后还吃了3个黑芝麻元宵。&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;     &lt;/strong&gt;I made sweetpotato pancake for freddie for breakfast,and he had that chinese bread for lunch, Dinner time, i made him some delicious chicken liver, also his favorite mushroom and brocoli,eat with special rice soup( rice+millet),after that he ate 3  sweet rice dumplings.:D&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;     给其他妈妈分享一下这个补铁的菜：鸡肝切成小块，用料酒，淀粉，盐，蒜蓉和葱腌起来，中火，多加点油，慢火炒熟就可以了。我觉得给孩子吃一定要保证炒熟，中间没血色就说明熟了。大米小米粥中大米小米按1：1的比例。：）&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;     &lt;/strong&gt;Chicken liver is a great source of iron. i cut the liver into small pieces, marinade them with chinese cooking wine, corn starch, mashed garlic, chopped spring onion, and salt, medium heat , cook with vegetable oil for about 5 mins. make sure it's completely cooked( i usually smash one piece to see if there is any blood inside ), rice soup i used same amount regular rice with millet. tastes great!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;      &lt;/strong&gt; This is a kind of very delicious and popular food in China, originally from XI'AN. i think we should call it chinese hamburger. I made some for david before, he loved it!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;    我做的白吉馍用面和做馒头的面是一样的，发面（大约3tbsp发酵粉，用温热的水化开，加入3-4cup面粉，活成柔软的面团，和面中间水要加适量）。大约1-1 1/2小时后面就发起来了，大约变成原来2倍那么大。揪两小团面，各自按成圆饼状，2个上下合在一起擀成圆饼。面饼两面沾上干面粉用平底锅烙出棕色的烙印（大约1分钟），转移到烤盘，把所有的面团按上面步骤作出后一并放入预热烤箱（350F),烤15分钟就可以了，因为是两个面饼和在一起做，出来后用刀很容易就能把中间切开。然后就是放上炖好跺好的五花肉和肉汁（五花肉和各种大料，料酒，姜，酱油冰糖炖在一起，炖上2-3个小时），配上尖椒和香菜！开吃！&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;     &lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;Bread part:  Melt 3 tbsp dry yeast with warm water, mix with 3-4 cup all-purpose flour and warm water, make a dough like pizza dough. after 1-1.5 hours, the dough will be twice as big, divide the dough into 12 pieces,  press the dough flat, put one dough on the top of the other, press them into 1 piece with a rolling pin. use a cooking pan to warm both sides to partly brown, move it to a baking pan, after brown all the bread, bake all of them under temperature 350F for 15mins, then it's done, u need to slice the bread half way like what u see in my picture.then put the meat inside. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;   Meat part: boil the pork with skin( this kind of pork is called pork fresh side  ) together with chinese seasonings( you may find it in the asian store,  special bag seasoning for meat) for about 2-3 hours. then chop the meat into small pieces, pour some soup on it, put them in the bread, together with fresh hot pepper or Cilantro. very tasty.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;       &lt;strong&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;       买了一种做炒面的面条,牌子是Sunluck,这个牌子还出馄饨皮，豆腐，芝麻油这些亚洲食品。读了一下说明，这种面已经是提前蒸熟的，建议用热水烫5分钟后，沥干水和喜欢的东西炒在一起吃。我用虾仁，蘑菇，芹菜和胡萝卜丝一起炒得，炒的过程中要适当加一些水和酱油，小火闷干就好了，虽然说是炒面，吃起来非常像家乡的卤面，其实做法和卤面差不多的，只不过用料有些差别而已（卤面用肉丝配豆角或者黄豆芽）。&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Cornish chicken is really small, one is just enough to make a dish, i had to cook another vegetable dish to go with it. it turned out great, have to thank my friend lyn for giving me those laoganma hotpot sauce and sichuan beanpaste. david doesn't like bones so well, but he loves the flavor of this dish, i told him i would cook chicken with bones more often,this way, he will get used to it eventually.lol&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#008080" size=3&gt;                    稍许植物油，炒香老干妈植物油火锅底料和稍许郫县豆瓣酱，加入葱姜蒜和花椒还有洋葱，炒香后加入鸡块翻炒，炒到鸡块变色，加入一些水炖30分钟就好了。因为火锅料和郫县豆瓣酱都已经很咸了，所以我没有额外加盐。我用了1/4袋火锅底料。&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font color="#008080"&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;        &lt;/strong&gt; Cut the chicken into small pieces with bones, marinade them with chinese cooking wine, starch, soysauce and a little bit water.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font color="#008080" size=3&gt;         use a little bit vegetable oil to fry 1/4 bag laoganma hotpot sauce and a little bit sichuan beanpaste, then add spring onion , ginger and garlic and chinese pepper cone,onion, and then, put the chicken in to fry, add some water when the surface of the chicken got cooked, cover it for about 30 mins, and it's done! don't need extra salt, cause those sauces are salty enough.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;     给家人添道年夜菜---红红火火的回锅肉！第一次做，没有蒜苗，就只用了五花肉，墨西哥辣椒和洋葱。不过真的好吃！下饭，下酒！&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;    做法大家都知道的吧：我买的是韩国店里片好的五花肉，先和姜，水一起煮熟，然后在凉水下洗干净，擦干，放入干锅中煎出油（或者稍微加些油煎），肥肉部分煎出油后加入葱姜蒜和郫县豆瓣酱炒，然后加入青椒（一般是蒜苗）炒就好了。我喜欢炒得干干的，很有嚼头。喜欢软软的回锅肉的可以不必把所有肥油煎出来，或者稍微加点水就是了。&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;    Everybody must be very busy for chinese new year now . i miss being with families so much, it has been a couple of years since the last new year eve with families , time does fly. i miss preparing new year dinner with families, having dinner with them, watching the celebration show. my dad and brother firing firecrackers in the midnight. getting messages from friends... feeling  so good even thinking about those details. next year, we will be there!&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;   I wanna add one new dish to my family's new year dinner table---double cooked pork: boil the unsalted bacon with ginger and water,then rinse the fat foam off the meat. fry the meat without oil in the cooking pan.add spring onion,onion, garlic,ginger and sichuan beanpaste when the fat starts to melt. add jalapeno last. i like to make it chewy without adding water. great with steamed rice!&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;       在朋友家吃了墨鱼仔，余兴未了，就买了2只大墨鱼回来，墨鱼也叫鱿鱼，小时候鱿鱼人参都是很难吃到的东西，还记得小时候得病，爸爸辛苦寻来干人参找饭店厨师煲汤喝。墨鱼在大卫眼中是怪物，自然是不吃，所以给他做一个他爱吃的宫保鸡丁，给自己做一个烧鱿鱼。太好吃了，虽然鱿鱼清理扒皮比较费时，但做出来真得很满足。&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;辣烧鱿鱼---这次做的没有上次好吃，上次用油炒香花椒，洋葱和墨西哥辣椒，放进鱿鱼爆炒2分钟就好了，不能烧老，老了就硬了。&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt; Spicy squid---last time's recipe is better: vegetable oil fry some onion and Jalapeno with chinese pepper corn, then fry squid really quicklly. don't cook squid for too long, they will turn really hard if do so.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;    对于榨菜的回忆：我想是在大学暑假实习的时候，每天和同学从设计院辛苦工作一天（我是学建筑学的，在设计院也就是整天对着电脑画图），跨越城市疲惫的回到宿舍，一碗泡面，一袋涪陵榨菜，一根火腿肠，就能让胃很满意。。。那记忆，那味道，可能一辈子也不能忘记。&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;    对于腐乳的回忆：其实我自己家里的早餐很少吃腌制的东西。小时候的邻居海兰家，经常会出现红红的南乳，觉得红红的颜色好特别！所以第一次吃到南乳应该是在她家。香香醇醇，妙不可言。再后来就是大学的早餐，一碗粥，一个馒头，一个蛋，再加上一块红红的南乳,香！&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;     前段时间有机会买到这两样，榨菜切丝拌香油，南乳上面加一点辣油，或者什么都不加，配着米粥和馒头，恩，像回到了过去的时光一样！&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;     There is a kind of food called comfort food. it can bring back some good memories even if u didn't really like them back then. i found 2 kinds of my comfort food. fortunately, i like them all the time.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;     My memory about Chinese pickled mustard green( it is also called preserved szechuan pickle,we say zhacai) was when i was in college, we were working for a Design institute as apprentices in summer break ( no pay. urhhhh...)  , everyday when we went back to our Dormitory,  we were so tired and hungry. our common dinner was instant noodles+chinese ham stick+zhacai. those simple food could make us so content! i miss those days!&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;       My memory about preserved beancurd( i like to call it  pickcled tofu):  first time i had a taste of it was in my neighbout's dinner table. they looked so red and inviting. later,it became one of my favorite breakfast choices back in the college time. with some ricesoup and chinese bread, Tasty! it can also be used as sauce to cook with meat, steam meat with picked tofu and its sauce. southern chinese style!&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;        这些日子，鸡肉牛肉都不想吃（除了麻辣的尝不出来味道的除外），却特别喜欢吃海味，买来一大块新鲜的阿拉斯加三文鱼肉，没有刺，中间切开，一人一块。用大量黑胡椒，蒜粉，干罗勒，盐，稍许红酒（我用的威士忌），腌起来，黄油煎香蒜蓉，中低火把鱼煎熟即可。挤上柠檬汁开吃，一点都不腥!  黄油和蒜蓉是海鲜的绝佳搭配，百试不爽！ &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;     Tired of eatting chicken and beef( except spicy flavored, the kind hardly taste like chickn or beef), loving seafood now. i bought a big piece of  fresh alaska king salmon， no bone, cut in the middle to make 2 pieces ( 1 piece for each of us),marinade them with a lot of blackpepper, garlic powder, basil, salt, red wine( i used whisky), low to medium heat, melt some butter with mashed fresh garlic, fry both sides until completely cooked. squeeze some lemon juice on the top. no fishy smell at all!. butter and  garlic are seafood's great match. really! &lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;     那天看阳光做的土豆饼很诱人，于是也试着做了给FREDDIE当早餐，他喜欢得不得了。我在阳光的基础上加了蛋的。所以更加营养一些。配上番茄酱，很美味！&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;      做法很简单，土豆切丝，调味，加一点水和淀粉，一点点油煎至一面凝结在一起，然后搅拌一个鸡蛋浇在上面，再煎一会儿反面煎至另一面金黄就可以了。反面需要功夫，要不然不成形，反的时候一边把锅往上抛，一边用铲子带动饼身翻动。&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;   Idea from one friend, so i gave it a try the other day . it makes great breakfast! freddie loves it. i changed the recipe a little bit, i added eggs to make it more nutritious. eat with ketchup, tasty!&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;   Very simple recipe: slice potato into very thin sticks, season them with salt and pepper, add a little bit starch and water,mix them well , a little bit  oil in the pan. fry one side until the bottom becomes a whole part. then scramble an egg, pour the egg on the top of the pancake, fry a little bit more, then flip the pancake( tip: shake the pan upward when flipping  the pancake with spachelor),it is done when both sides are golden .&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;中午饭做了麻婆豆腐，虽然没有正宗的郫县豆瓣酱还有四川的辣椒花椒粉，不过我用了李锦记的麻婆豆腐酱和自己炸的辣椒油以及老干妈，还不算坏。不过我和大卫总觉得缺点什么，我想肯定是花椒！李锦记的麻婆豆腐酱偏甜。&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;I made mapo tofu for lunch, i know it's not as good as real mapo tofu( i dont have sichuan seasonings). i used leekumkee mapo sauce and my own hot oil and laoganma sauce. so pretty tasty. david and i both felt it was missing something. i guess it is the  sichuan black pepper! leekumkee mapo tofu makes it kinda sweet.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font size=3&gt;  Today's turkey was a great shot, it was pretty good for my first try. i got everybody's compliments:P. david's grandma and greatgrandma couldn't make it here, but fredd's grandparents came over! i feel the best part of the turkey dinner was the stuffing, we finished all the stuffing! but we got a lot of turkey meat left. tonight  i made some turkey bone soup. feel so good to have some soup in this cold winter evening!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
